Mailys Pineau, principal consultant at London-based, integrated transport consultancy Momentum, has been named as a runner-up in the 2019 Everywoman in transport and logistics awards.
The awards, in their 12th year, aim to uncover female role models, identify male agents of change and transform industry perception. Alongside two other industry figures, Mailys was named as a finalist in the ‘leader’ category for the customer/passenger award, which is awarded to women who are excelling in their role for customers and passengers in transport, logistics and freight.
David Hart, director at Momentum and a mentor for Women in Transport, said: “We’re very proud of Mailys and her achievement of being named as a finalist in this year’s awards. Every day she demonstrates how young, energetic and enthusiastic people can succeed in managing – and crucially, leading – transport inputs into large projects. We think she is an inspiration for other young women embarking on a transport planning career.

The winners were announced at a ceremony in central London on 13 June.
