Creating spaces for people, communities and society.

As the future City grows exponentially and as the search for living, working and playing space
for people becomes ever more complex, city custodians are facing increasing pressure to consider
the human perspective. The part that the City Space plays in social wellbeing, inclusivity and an increase in community and shared space are becoming imperatives.

The ways that people access and use their City’s services and facilities are vital but the ways that
people feel included as valuable contributors to the development of their spaces are now understood
as directly linking to community growth and the integration of communities, spaces, places and hubs
into the wider City. Most people feel that the City is their City.

Momentum understands these emerging City imperatives. We know that our clients understand them too and wish to develop the spaces that they are responsible for in ways that enable people, communities and leaders to participate in development planning so that they are better able to participate in the developed space.

We recognise that enabling everyone to participate can be a complex, sometimes highly charged
endeavour but we also recognise that by doing so, we contribute to the greater success and wider
benefits of the development in and for the future.

We think this is worth fighting for and we support our clients through community and
stakeholder engagement, needs insight development and outcomes analytics as well as planning,
design and engineering excellence designed to create environments that benefit everyone.
