Introduction

Momentum were commissioned by Brockton to provide transport planning support for the redevelopment of 10-14 Hollybush Gardens, which proposed the retention and refurbishment of an existing warehouse building and addition of a basement, ground floor plus five storey building to the rear of the site to provide office accommodate and flexible retail space.

We advised on the transport requirements throughout the project and liaised with the local planning and highway authority, the London Borough of Tower Hamlets, to develop a servicing strategy for the site. We also provided technical design advice and investigated options for improving the adjacent highway arrangement. We prepared the full suite of technical transport planning documentation for the scheme, including a Transport Assessment, Framework Delivery & Servicing Plan, Framework Travel Plan and Framework Construction Logistics Plan.

Our work helped the scheme achieve planning consent in December 2017. The consented scheme includes the provision of extensive cycle parking provision together with off-street servicing to meet the requirements of the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. The scheme also promotes the use of public transport and other active travel modes, with no general car parking provided.
