Introduction
The team at Momentum has been supporting the Nova Victoria project for over nine years, providing wide ranging transport planning support, including planning application support, stopping up orders, servicing and waste management strategies, traffic modelling, highway design and stakeholder liaison.
Our current commission primarily covers Section 278 support encompassing detailed highway design, assistance in the development of legal agreements, traffic modelling and stakeholder liaison and management. Momentum is negotiating the complex approvals processes with Transport for London and Westminster City Council, whilst also helping to ensure that the nearby Victoria Station Upgrade works can proceed simultaneously.
As part of this work, Momentum prepared a number of Legion models to support design of alternative Paid Area Link (PAL) alignments for the Victoria Station Upgrade proposals during the TWAO Inquiry.
