Our approach to public realm design is founded on the integration and application of our three core areas of specialism; planning, engineering and analytics. Our aim is simple: to design and deliver safe, functional and high-quality public spaces for the very people who will use them.

Establishing the strengths and weaknesses of the existing public realm, achieved through movement surveys, data analysis and stakeholder engagement, is integral to development of context-suitable design proposals. Collaborating as part of wider project teams, our engineers take the lead in the design proposals to improve these spaces; our analysts test them through vehicle swept-path and pedestrian modelling assessments; and our planners ensure they achieve policy requirements and aspirations.

We are proud to have been involved in an array of development- and community-led public realm schemes, and look forward to supporting the design of further beautiful, bespoke spaces for people across the world.
